Adventure in Blue and Gold
This was done with watercolor and wax crayon. The crayon acts as a resist and helps keep the distinct areas from blurring into each other except where I deliberately go beyond the line.

Abstract Experiment
I love the idea of inventing something instead of copying something, but I don't know if I've ever come up with an imaginary image that satisfies me as much as some of my interpretations of natural phenomena.

Rainy Day Doodle
Once I choose my process or structure in a painting, carrying it out can be a form of meditation. Thoughts pass through my mind like clouds through the sky while I patiently fill in the spaces.
